the right thing

When you are too strict, people will dislike you even when they know you are just doing your job. When you try to be lenient, people take advantage and step all over you, forgetting they have a job to do. Time to find the right balance.

staycation :)

I never knew the day will come where it dawned on me that staying back in Singapore instead of travelling out could be so much fun. Last year I did 6 trips overseas altogether, for work and pleasure. This year, I did none. ZERO. Unbelieveable. I took a couple of long leaves to just relax, and chill. And I returned back to work fully rejuvenised, with no jet lag, dirty laundries to clear whatsoever. Being with the right company counts of course :) I didn't want to travel without my dear by my side, without him sharing the sights, sounds and local tastes. So the only way to do so, will be to 'travel' locally. I did many things that I wanted to eat, do and explore but didn't have time to do. For the first time, I: 1. Tried Cafe Iguana's food (heard rave reviews about it from bestie but didn't get to try) 2. Played LAN games.. hahaha 3. Visited the Botanical Gardens... lovely experience :) 4. Watched 1 and 1/4 movie ;) 5. Picnic-ed at Sentosa and
